My father handed me a camera when I was 7 years old and told me to shoot, everything, everywhere. I have had a camera in my hands ever since. I studied photography in college and then went to LA to be a filmmaker. After graduating from the LA Film School as a director and producer I had a stint as a stuntwoman, worked on many films and music videos, and styled a Victoria Secrets commercial directed Michael Bay. I found out I was pregnant after 8 years in Los Angeles and chose family over Hollywood. I wanted my kids to have the childhood experience I had – trees, dirt, animals and nature. So we moved back north to Sonoma County.

Once back in Sonoma County, I had the great fortune of apprenticing with an award winning wedding photographer. After several years of the work, I was hooked! It’s an honor being with people on one of the most important days of their lives. To tell the story of it. To capture the beauty, the excitement, the drama of it all.

Weddings are a unique and expressive avenue in photography, and requires a few additional skills. You have to be quick to adjust, be good under stress and be able to work with all kinds of people and personalities in any situation or circumstance handed to you. I bring a no stress, creative spirit to any job I do. My travels and career in the film industry had prepared me for this job perfectly!
